Dear God,

I hurriedly raked and picked up leaves before slicing and seeding the yard.  Hoping to get the yard finished before the big winds arrived, I filled four sacks but then the wind whipped up and I had to stop but not before thinking about the wind of your spirit.

I don't often think about the power of your spirit, O God.  However, today when the wind picked up, I felt the power of nature's wind.  Part of the wind of your spirit, it is only a fraction of the power of your Holy Spirit on human lives.  When your spirit wind blows on us, wondrous things can happen, miracles even.

When I am low I cry out for your spirit wind.  I want, need the wind of your spirit to blow grace and mercy upon me.  When I am high with praise, I invite your wind to dance with me in celebration.  Without the breath of your spirit on us, what would become of us?

Thank you
for your
Holy Spirit,
O God.
Thank you
for blessing us.
Thank you
for your compassion,
mercy and grace.

Love, Andrea
