Dear God,
The birds are prancing around, preening and preparing for mating and nesting. Cardinals, turtledoves and wrens find joy in our backyard. I sit and watch them do what you created them to do in springtime.
Birds instinctively know what to do and when. You tucked into their DNA everything they need to know to be a bird. Mating and nesting seasons come and go; yet, various birds come again to visit, singing their mating songs. When I quietly observe and listen, they bring you to me. While their songs may be unique to their species, one thing I recognize is their familiar song of creation.
Thank you,
Loving Creator,
for springtime,
for the birds
and their display
of your
wondrous creative plan.
Daily I marvel
at your
amazing work.
Thank you
for today's birdsong.
Love, Andrea
