Dear God,

There are signs of you everywhere!  As the rain falls and I watch the grass turn from brown to green, I see you at work in nature.  The same is true of human life.  We too can change by your hand.

I have always loved the idea of transformation.  Turning from evil to good, from hopeless to faith and doubt to believing, all these come from you.

When I reflect upon the lives of my loved ones, I see how you have been at work bringing transformation to them.  I look at my sister, broken to the core after the murder of her beloved son.  Although it has taken four years, she is recovering trusting you to help her.  When I think of a grandchild who suffered so much during her teen years, I see how you rescued her giving her new faith, confidence and strength.  When I think of a friend, a victim of every kind of abuse, I see how you completely changed her putting her on a path of hope, peace and joy.  All this, every bit of the transformation has your name upon it.

O God,

for opportunity

to change.

for transformation

and its healing.

Thank you

for love

that knows

no bounds.
