Dear God,
I can't help but offer prayers of thanksgiving for asking me to partner with you to create a spiritual path and hermitage. What was it thirteen years ago when you pointed to a place in the tangled, ominous-looking woods and said, "There is the opening to the spiritual path." Stunned, I simply replied, "Spiritual path?" It all began that year when I put the first shovel into the ground.
As I daily work in the dirt, clearing, cleaning, sawing, dragging logs, raking and planting, I think of you. I am naturally drawn to prayer and meditation. I feel such at peace working hard, laboring for you. And the wonder of it all, well there are many wonders, is that I followed your lead all these years. I was never in a rush or in a frenzy for what was not yet done. And the beauty of it all is astounding to me since I am not a master gardener or designer. I listened to you, to the trees and ferns, the rocks and breezes. I was lead every time to the next step, the next task and the result has been incredible blessings.
Thank you,
dear God,
for including me
in your
amazing plan.
Thank you
for giving me
the desire,
the willingness
to work daily
and the
eternal joy
at being
at your side
listening, ever listening.
I am blessed,
so very blessed.
Love, Andrea
