Dear God,

You draw us together in amazing ways.  Although we may be strangers from far and near, we can be pilgrims on the same path.  As we come together, we have opportunity to pray for one another.

This morning after writing my letter to you, I looked at the readers, the names of countries where there are those who are pilgrims like me.  As I read their names, I prayed for them in the United States, Canada, Serbia, Russia, Portugal, Romania and Ukraine.  Yes, we are strangers but still pilgrims together.  I smiled imagining us on the spiritual road together.

Loving God,

thank you

for bringing us together.

Thank you

for reminding us

we are 

not alone

on the pilgrimage.

Keep us close

to one another

in prayer

and contemplation.
