Dear God,

What do we do when the world is turned upside down?  How do we hold on?

The news is so upsetting.  People of color, innocent children and hurting individuals are being tossed about like trash on a beach.  I do not understand; I simply do not understand!

How can this go on, dear God?  How can lies, malice and threats rule our country?  Whatever happened to the truth that sets us free?  

Please help us,

Eternal God.

We need you.

Our brothers

and sisters

are wounded,

hurting and afraid.

Please, Loving God,

show us

the way

to healing

and hope.
