Dear God,

When will the truth win out?  When will the truth set our nation free?  When will we be free indeed?

Jesus' words, "You will know the truth and the truth will set you free," are holy words, words that tell us that truth is vital to freedom.  Where is truth in America today?

We need the truth, O God.  We are desperate for it.  Many of our GOP politicians are spreading lies and threats in order to be elected.  How can this be? 

Teach us

the truth,

Eternal God,

teach us

the real truths.

Put us

on our knees

in prayer

for the truth.

Lead us,

we pray.
