Dear God,

When I opened the vinyl box containing the Christmas lights, they looked like typical strands of clear lights until I put them up and night fell.  Somehow they became magical, mystical and beautiful.  As I sat in my chair and looked out, I felt full of hope, joy and peace.  The transformation was palpable.

That is what Thanksgiving and Christmas is all about...faith that transforms.  I am drawn to you and to the world, to family and friends and the stranger in the store.  My heart is softened, my mind cleared, my compassion awakened, my hope comes to life and my joy is full.

Transforming, Loving God,

for the power

of transformation.

for faith

that changes everything.

Thank you

for love

that reveals

your divine presence

in the world

and in

my home.
