Dear God,

When we sit in the same place over and over again, we see only from one perspective.  But when we are required to move because someone else took our seat, our perspective changes thanks to you.   Probably what we need to do is sit somewhere different every week.

We are so used to one perspective.  We live lives based on seeing the same way.  You, O Lord, challenge us to shake things up a bit.  You want us to be open to new realizations.  You want us to pause, reflect and change.  How else can we be clay in your hands?  How can we ever be transformed?  How can we be remodeled into the image you have especially for each of us?

Every day

you have

a new message

for us.

You want

to teach us

a new way.

You want

to give us

a new song

to sing.

Open us

to your

Living Spirit,

I pray.
