Dear God,

The ground is soggy, full of moisture from melting snow and ice.  As I walked over it, it felt spongy under my feet.  That water will make possible green grass in just a few weeks.

How I wish the spiritual life was like that.  Living water so fully hydrating the soul that even miracles are possible!

Why do we drink from any cup but yours?  Those cups will quench the thirst for a moment but never like your agape cup.  Yours keep us refreshed for a long time and it is the cup that is available and accessible 24/7.  There is no wine as sweet as your living water!

Fill us up

with your

living water,

O God.

We are thirsty

for you.

Thank you

for the blessing

of knowing

your cup

is always full

and waiting.
