Dear God,

The way of peace really comes when we listen and follow your gentle whisperings.  Whether we are troubled by personal issues, family problems or world conflict, the way to peace is always your way.

So why don't we wholly rely on your way?  We are creatures of habit wanting or needing to be self-sufficient.  We want to captain our own boat.  We like our way best.  But why not try the way of divine power and love?  It gives us hope, courage, strength, affirmation and determination.  When we try it all on our own, we almost always come up short.

for guiding us
