Dear God,

I always thought a day between Good Friday and Easter was good.  It gives us time to reflect, to think about the meaning of Holy Week and to consider what the challenge is for us individually and collectively.  I need that time.

Good Friday is dark.  Easter is joy.  Holy Saturday is quiet, an eerie silence and a time of reckoning.  So good, so very good.

for the gift

of Holy Week.

Thank you

for all

the emotions

that come

during this week.

Teach us

to travel

with you

every season.
