Dear God,

Kind and caring people reveal your presence to us.  When we feel that kind of compassionate love, we know there is more than meets the eye.  We drink in and fill our cup to the brim.  Not only are we grateful to generous individuals but also to you.

Although our world is filled with self-serving, uncaring politicians and those who fail to extend a hand or heart to diverse populations, still there are people at the grocery store, in the movie theatre, on the streets, in the airport and at the park who still smile, reach out, say a kind word, offer a loving gesture or encourage us.  How thankful our hearts feel when an unexpected gift comes our way.  They simply bring you to us.
