Dear God,

Thank you for early morning.  That you for the darkness and the dawn.  Thank you for the black, gray, white, pink and blue hues in the skies.  Thank you for the incredible beauty first thing every morning.

As each new day dawns, it gives us a new, fresh opportunity to receive the beauty of the new day.  It brings a holy breeze to stale lives.  It shouts, "Wake up, a new day is dawning.  Breathe in this fresh, new day filled with hope and promise.  Receive my gift, my love and my hope for you, my child, son and daughter, receive my gift from on high."  Who would not want to say yes to the new day.

to let go

of yesterday,

and to 

not plan

for tomorrow

and to accept

the gift
