Dear God,

While we walk this journey called life, you invite us to bring people into our lives.  As I sit with my devotions in the early morning, I bring in men and women who bring their truth, love and faith with them.  In the inner soul, they offer me the best they have to offer.

Such gifts bless me in ways beyond my imagination.  Living or dead, their treasures challenge, convict, comfort, heal and embrace me.  I listen to their stories come to life within me.  I allow them to walk through the spiritual and emotional halls of my life and there they affix pictures of a life with you.  At any time I can walk those same halls and find lingering images of faith dwelling there.  I am strengthened and blessed beyond my own worthiness, yet, I accept and receive praying that I too can offer to others my own faith as well.

into my life,

Holy God.

Thank you

for the gifts

they leave behind.

May I

be a 

faith-bearer

to others

as well.
