Dear God,

Springtime is always a time of invitation from you, O Lord, a time to say yes to hope, new growth and miracles.  In the winter bleakness, it seems impossible that nature will give us vibrant new life; yet, she does and with amazing beauty.  But why should nature be the only thing that changes?

You offer us a way out of our situation, the bleakness of all that hinders us from hope.  You whisper, "You can do this new thing.  You can do it.  I am with you.  I am the power, the courage and the strength.  You can do this."  We are left to answer the question to whether or not we will accept the invitation and rise.

Loving God,

no one

offers us 

more than you.
