Dear God,

When we are weak, we are strong.  The biblical story of weakness informs us where to go for living water.  And there are wells all around us.  If we aren't paying attention, we can stumble and fall into one.

You did not create this world and then walk away.  You filled the earth with everything we need beginning and ending with your abundant supply.  

Your love is everywhere, in the smile of a stranger, in the song of the bird, in the growing trees, shrubs and flowers, in the kiss of the sun and the dew of the morning.  It wasn't haphazardly left behind; it was placed within our reach, everyone's.

We are

not alone

for you

are with us,

Loving Father.

Thank you

for the gifts

that strengthen us

in our weakness.

Open our eyes

to faith

that enables us

to see

it all.
