Dear God,

It's the little things that give us comfort, hope and peace.  It is the twinkling of a single white star in a dark night sky.  It is the birds in the mating dance, flying, soaring on the wind.  It is a child's response to a beautiful surprise.  It is the little things.

Often, we pray for big things, Lord, but the answer comes back in small packages.  They delight and bless.  At a time of great difficulty in our nation and world, we need to look for the small things and offer the small things to one another.  Really, at the end of the day, it will be the small things that happened that touched and inspired us the most.

for challenging us

to watch

for the

small blessings

of life.

for each

and every one.

Give us eyes

to discover

what you

have waiting

for us.
