Dear God,

Twenty two of my family came together at our home for game night and a meal. We laughed, teased, played games, and ate very well. The grandchildren ran around the yard, raked up a big pile of leaves and jumped in it and played games with the adults. But we did one thing different this time at our regular gatherings; we paused for a time to share good news. After each sharing, we clapped.

Not only could we not share our lives together a few years back, we didn't even get together. But one day your hand moved upon us; your spirit breeze blew and we began our trek toward one another. As we shared our good news tonight, we were also sharing your activity in our lives. Our togetherness was an act of your grace.

Holy Spirit,
Love of God,
your presence
is sweeter
than any other.
You draw
us together
giving us
yet another opportunity
to celebrate
your work
and our faith
in you.
We love you.

Always, Andrea
