Dear God,
Everything I see around me directs me to you. The last vestiges of summer, the array of fall colors suprising me each morning, a family of 16 huge wild turkeys walking by my kitchen window, the cool weather, a beautiful, warm home and a loving husband guide me to say thank you.
This has been the most wonderful summer of our married life together. To experience a working miracle, to discover love can still grow at our age, to laugh and cry together, to enjoy one another's company, and a desire to make the other happy has been pure joy.
I know what it means to live in blessing. Almost anything can bless. Even tragedies in the news compell me to draw near to you to pray. Joyous occasions are made even better when I stop to think about your part in the moment.
As we pack up to go back to our other home, I just want to say thank you with all my heart.
Your gifts
are many,
precious God.
You give
and then
give again.
You not
only provide
the gifts,
you give
the opportunity
to see
the gift
of life.
Today my heart
is full
of gratitude.
Love, Andrea
