Dear God,
We laughed until we nearly fell off our chairs. All throughout the evening we shared and talked. It seemed as if anything we said could trigger an uproarious laughter. As we gave in to the urge to let go, to allow our tickle bone to tickle up a storm, we sensed a love that bound us together as friends.
We were all strangers to each other just a few years ago until we found one another at church. Worshipping together, singing together in the choir, visiting with each other during fellowship hour and encountering one another in different ways drew us together.
The one thing we have in common is faith, a living faith that gives momentum to our daily lives. As we each live that out in various and unique ways, we are drawing from our wealth of belief, experience, trust, and support. Our friendship reminds me how active you are in the world drawing a community of faith together to do, if nothing more, make each other laugh, temporarily lifting us up from our anxieties, worries, and fears. You bring love to the surface and give us cause to celebrate...together!
Ingenius God,
all glory
and honor
are yours.
Thank you
for the gifts
and blessings,
beautiful blips
on the line
of life.
Love, Andrea
