Dear God,

We started planting today!  What joy my heart felt as different varieties of bleeding hearts, hostas, daffodils, tulips, iris, hydrangea, venka, and plants I don't even remember the names made their way into the sanctuary.  As Cindy and I dug out roots, added enriched soil, and planted bulbs, I could already envision springtime here on Pleasant Street.

One of the dramatic learnings I have received in my life with you is following your plan always brings joy.  My first dose of joy comes when I listen.  The second dose arrives when I say yes.  The third appears when I act.  The fourth unfolds when I finish the task.  The fifth is revealed when I set my mouth to praise.

of blessing you

as I
follow your plan.
