Dear God,

Your word is blessed!  Your mercy is everlasting!

At the monastery this morning your word flew off the page and into my heart.  Your promises inspired me making me realize once again your power is supreme.  Your kindness is eternal.

As my colleague and I went into the small spiritual direction room after the liturgy we entered into silence, a time to listen, to wait, and to attune ourselves to your word made fresh for our lives.  When I read a writing from Taize, our devotion for the morning, I remembered your living spirit there when our covenant group visited in 2005. Then I was still as my spiritual friend spoke of your miracles in his life.

Faith makes everything come alive!  Your word becomes living flesh when seen through the eyes of faith, the music, the song of angels.  The Bible so full of your stories enlarges when we tell our own.  Love grows, your purpose is made known, and transformation claims us as we open ourselves wider and deeper to your work in our lives.  Joy erupts when peace comes and we just want to tell the story blessing you and others!

Come, Holy Spirit, come
whenever and however
you want.
Speak to us
again and again.
Make us
living testimonies
to faith,
I pray.

Love, Andrea
