Dear God,

Thank you for the truth that sets us free.  Thank you for your desire to show us the better way.

We have dear friends in one family who are suffering major difficulties.  The husband has had prostate cancer, melanoma, and currently has stage 4 lymphoma.  The wife has no kidneys, hasn't had for several years and is on dialysis.  The adult daughter needs new kidneys.  Any one of these events could weaken a family; yet, by faith this family lives a pretty normal life.  They are involved in their church, in the community, and in neighbors' lives.  They set a high standard for trusting, moving, and living their faith.

I love this family, Lord, and I pray for their healing.
