Dear God,

Each morning I watch for your presence.  I long to see you in whatever way you choose to reveal yourself.  It was when I was sitting in the choir loft and looked out that I found you staring back.  Gabrielle, my 14-year-old granddaughter was looking up, gazing at the cross.  I studied her face and saw her spirit opening to you.

What surprises await us when we open ourselves to you!  What comes our way can fill us with awe and wonder because we know you are with us.  As we watch and anticipate, practicing our faith, you reach out to us and speak.  You gift us with spiritual life and warmth, a generous peek of your eternal glory.

for your blessings
from on high.

for prized moments
of faith.
Thank you
for joy
that surrounds us.
