Dear God,

Living in your presence until forward movement comes teaches us to focus on you and your will for our lives.  Engaging in a spiritual retreat with you and others opens us to growth, reconciliation, and restoration.  New life is made possible.

Twenty five women came together to learn about gratitude.  We wanted to know how to live as grateful women singing your praise.  We stretched.  We learned.  We relented.  We shared.  We celebrated.

You moved us to remember your kindness.  You challenged us to consider your living work in our lives.  You inspired us to dig for treasure in unexpected places.  We struck gold.

Loving Father,
thank you
for moving us
from where
we are
to where
you want us
to be.
Thank you
for turning us
inside out
so we
can examine
our lives
from your view.
Thank you
for blessings
that come
when we tarry
with you
and one another.
