Dear God,

The Word of Life is powerful.  It directs us to you.  It inspires faith.  It challenges us to become clay in the Potter's hands.  It shouts love to your children.

Your Word cries out for change.  It asks us to let you transform us.  As we surrender to your will, your work begins in us.  It shines light in the dark places.  It heals us and invites us to give faith a chance in all areas of our life.

This morning you led me to The First Letter of John.  You spoke, "We write to you about the Word of life, which has existed from the very beginning:  we have heard it, and we have seen it with our eyes; yes, we have seen it, and our hands have touched it.  When this life became visible, we saw it; so we speak of it and tell you about the eternal life, which was with the Father and was made known to us.  What we have seen and heard we tell to you also, so that you will join with us in the fellowship that we have with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.  We write this in order that our joy may be complete."  I John 1-4 TEV

When your Word touches, inspires, and transforms us, you ask us to share it with others so our joy may be full to overflowing.

Thank you,
Amazing God,
for touching us
with your Word.
Thank you
for inspiring us
to faith.
Thank you
for transforming us
with your
gentle hand.

Love, Andrea
