Dear God,
Miracles, how can we ever forget them? I'm living mine today with my daughter who was estranged from me for 13 years...13 very long years. One day she returned. This week she brought her husband and two of her children to visit us in Maine. What joy my heart felt! All a miracle, a real miracle.
Sometimes we see you as a small little worker bee designed to give us what we want when we ask for it. We fail to take you seriously realizing one tiny movement and the oxygen could be sucked out of the air. When we resist you believing we are more powerful and better trusted, we forget how we were made of the earth. We forget your amazing grace. We forget your blessings. Above all, we forget your love that is far greater, deeper, and longer than any the world can possibly possess. We forget you.
But today, as I watch my daughter laugh and tease and smile, I know first hand the wonders of your miracles and I am grateful, so very, very grateful.
Holy God,
all powerful
and full
of love,
thank you
so much
for your
miraculous power.
Thank you
for reconciliation.
Thank you
for grace
that never ends.
Love always, Andrea
