Dear God,

Whether our lives are hard or easy, you come to us blessing us with your living presence.  You let us know you are with us; we are never alone.  In our joy you are there to join us in celebration.  In our sorrow or hardship you are there to assist us in our renewal or restoration.  In our doubting, you are there to help clear the fog.

The best part of life is when we recognize your spirit, when we suddenly find ourselves lifted up out of the mire, or when we gain insight into troubling issues.  When we become aware of the divine in the ordinariness of life, we began to see how even small things can carry an extraordinary message.

Every day you reach out to us, giving us your best.  Although we miss many kind gestures, you continue to stretch out your hand that we might take it and walk the path of faith together.  Those moments of togetherness are like none other.
