Dear God,

How do we love and keep on loving?  How do we keep our love alive for you, for others, and for ourselves?

Your love is shown to us in the air we breathe.  Your love comes to us when hope suddenly rises up within us.  Your love sings its song to us through music that calms the soul and soothes the mind.  Your love embraces us when someone offers us a kind gesture.  Your love reveals itself when faith helps us overcome fear, loneliness, and trials.  Your love touches us when we realize we are not alone.  Your love inspires us when faith brings courage and strength.

We forget your love is just a breath away.  We forget your past miracles, helps, and healings.  We forget to count our blessings instead of our losses.  Yet, your love desires to warm us when we are cold, to feed us when we are hungry, and to hold us when we are lonely.

Your love is the one constant in our lives.

Loving God,
thank you
for examples
of your love
present in
the world.
Thank you
for gentle touches
and friendly reminders.
Thank you
for love
that can
sustain us
like no other.

Love always, Andrea
