Dear God,

We face uncertainty every day.  We are not totally convinced that all will be well.  There are some who believe something bad will happen today.

It doesn't take long to realize we have little control over life.  There are so many forces at work.  We live with worry, anxiety, and fear.  Yet, as people of faith, you give us the spiritual peace knowing we are in your compassionate hands.  It does not mean something will not occur; however, we know that we are yours.  We are your children.  We began with you and we will end with you.  You will help us no matter what comes our way.  Of that we can be sure.

with the knowledge

living presence
in the cosmos.

for bringing calm
even during
the storm.
