Dear God,

The music of faith allows us to crawl inside your spirit.  Finding ourselves in paradise we experience  joy overflowing.

Once again I was asked to lead the hymn sing at church, the wonderful 15 minutes before worship when we sing our favorite hymns.  One of my favorite things to do, I lead us into singing, His Eye is on the Sparrow.  We sang with whole hearts, each of us longing for a meeting with Jesus.  By the time the service was to begin, we were full, full up with song, full up with hope, full up with you.

thank you
for music
that deeply touches
the soul.
Thank you
for your spirit
that awakens
all our senses.
Thank you
for church
where we worship
in spirit,
in love,
and in joy.
