Dear God,
Waiting, patiently waiting. I don't always wait well, Lord. I may not want or need instant answers but typically I am impatient about certain things. I can get irritated and grouchy waiting.
And yet, you say, "Wait. Wait upon the Lord. Wait." How can I want more than you? Your will? Your way? Why do I mess up my life by wanting to move around you when I perceive you are slow as a snail? I am sorry.
Every day you give us lessons to learn. Some are easy. Some are hard. But always, you teach us. If we are open to you, willing to listen, and are patient, we will receive gifts of a lifetime.
Heavenly Father,
thank you
for daily lessons.
Thank you
for making us students.
Thank you
for teaching us.
We need
your lessons,
now and
every day.
Forgive our impatience.
Love always, Andrea
