Dear God,

I watched a movie entitled, Collateral Beauty.  What an incredible movie designed to stretch the heart, soul, and mind.  Warm tears filled my eyes and spilled over as I quieted myself and listened.

When disturbances come (and they do), we need to look around to find what else good is happening around us.  When we want to give up and give in, we miss your amazing grace taking place in our midst.  We get so focused on the "bad" that we are blinded to your good. 

As I stepped inside the movie and listened, I heard your voice.

Loving God,
you use anything
and everything
around us
to speak
your word.
You invite us in.
You cause us
to ponder
and reflect.
Then you speak again.
Thank you
for such
holy moments.
