Dear God,

Today I was so full, yes, of so much good food but more than that, I was full of thanksgiving!!!  Twenty four of us gathered together in a circle in our living room.  We each shared who/what we were thankful for.  Each of us realized we had been touched by loss and sorrow this whole year long; however, instead of talking about our loss we spoke of our gratitude.  That much gratitude was something to be celebrated.  It could not have been so without you, O Lord, it could not have been so without you!

O Lord,
for blessing us.
You were present
all day long.
Your gifts
were many.
Thank you
from the bottom
of my heart.
