Dear God,

Thank you for the season of thanksgiving.  It is a wonderful time to reflect upon blessings.  Although I have talked about blessings in the last few days, I can't seem to let them go.  Today, I felt my heart well up with joy, joy that simply could not contain itself.

Knowing you as the god who turns darkness into light and sorrow into joy, I fill with gratitude because I am confident that my own doubt can turn to hope in the hand of the master.  I live in faith with you every day and that alone brings joy to my soul.
