Dear God,

Joy filled the room as we six women sewed Christmas aprons. We shared stories and laughed.  We hugged and prayed and gave thanks.  We wanted to get an early start on the big event we are planning next December.  We plan to make 35 Bethlehem shopkeeper aprons.

What was amazing was that we were conservatives and liberals.  We were old and young.  We were Republicans and Democrats.  We were friends made and inspired by faith.  The aprons gave us the opportunity to be one together.  Sweet!

Holy God,
you use
so many ways
to bring us together.
You want us
to be one.
You want us
to love one another.
