Dear God,

The snow fell gently upon the waiting branches.  Snowflakes gathered and the branches welcomed them like manna from heaven.  There is just something about a snow-laden tree that tells me of your greatness.

Something happens inside me when I watch the clouds let loose.  When snow falls and branches catch, I stand and watch mesmerized by their beauty.  My soul wakes up and takes notice.  My emotions come to the forefront of my mind.  Delight wells up and I smile giving thanks.

At times I have been so hungry and you sent me manna from heaven.  You fed me from your own hand.  You allowed it to collect for the next meal and the next and each time I was blessed again by your kindness and your mercy.  I ate and was full.

This morning as I gazed upon the magnificent beauty outdoors, I remembered your compassion, your countless blessings and your love and I gave thanks for the abundance.

Holy God,
thank you
for your grace.
Thank you
for spiritual memories
that feed
even now.
Thank you
for daily blessings.

Love, Andrea
