Dear God,

You bring such joy to the human heart.  You heal us.  You help us.  You guide us.  You bless us.  You challenge us.  You remake us.  You renew us.  You forgive us.

Joy comes when we open our hearts, minds and souls to you.  When we recognize and acknowledge your touch upon our lives, we naturally well with joy.  We are humbled by such love and kindness.  We feel full to overflowing when we see just how much you do for us.  Just to see a sunrise and feel its warmth and beauty is enough to make us well up with love for you and that brings all kinds of joy. When healing comes whether physical, emotional or spiritual, we feel your hand upon us.  Gratitude
is peaked and joy comes in buckets.

So often we fail to connect goodness, blessing and hope to you, Compassionate God.  We think we turn events around all by ourselves.  But when we become aware of your touch, we see more deeply.  Our faith increases, our thanksgiving soars and our joy overflows.

You are God;
there is none
like you.
You create joy
within us,
Loving God.
You fill us
to overflowing
again and again.
Receive our praise,
our gratitude
and our love,
we pray.
