Dear God,

The snow came one last time blanketing the ground.  Tiny flakes collected together, each one unique, exquisite and beautiful.  I oohhed and aahhed one more time.

You have made us like those gorgeous snowflakes, O Lord.  Uniquely made, you fashioned each of us.  What two can be exactly alike?  Although you crafted each one differently you created us to be together, to collect, to be beautiful together.

Sometimes we want to stand out, to show off or to display ourselves.  While there is always a time and season for all things, our greater beauty is when we gather together as one.  Why in your name can't we do that in our world today?

Help us,
O God,
help us
become more
our true selves
united with you
and one another.
Teach us again
your will,
your way.
Help us
show you
in our appearance,
our actions
and our service.

Love, Andrea
