Dear God,

So often you come to us in unexpected ways.  You appear seemingly out of nowhere and we find ourselves on yet another journey to you.

This time it came through a song written by a dear friend.  Simply called "this journey", it describes the journey of life with detours, mountains to climb, trials and tribulations, a fork in the road, never a straight and narrow path.  I needed that for I find myself wanting to get stuck, tarrying too long in one not so productive place.  I muddle in unholy space that keeps me frustrated, irritated, longing for another way.

Today you gave it to me.  Indeed as Leslie sang, "My faith will hold me up and get me to the top," I realized once again how you are with us as close as breath itself.
