Dear God,

How well I remember sitting quietly among the caves of Qumran.  I remember your presence ever so close.  I remember you speaking, "Be still and know I am God."

Although the moment was filled with awe because I was in the Holy Land, I think of many holy moments when you were ever so present...in the retreat center, my living room, the operating room, on top of the mountain, and in the jail where St. Francis was locked up.  Any place can become a holy place where you are present.  How glorious to be so very near you!

Blessed are you,
Almighty and Loving God.
Thank you
for precious moments
where we
dwell together.
Thank you
for your
countless moments
of living presence.

Love, Andrea
