Dear God,

There is no waiting time for faith.  Nothing to hold us back.  The path is revealed, the door is open, the invitation is before us.

Holy Saturday always reminds me of the time I stand between death and life.  Here I wait, thinking, reflecting, pondering, listening.  Why would I want to take one step without the call of my Lord?  But when it comes, my feet are poised...ready.

Holy Father,
thank you
for transition times
when we
sit and wait,
reflect and listen,
meditate and contemplate
on the gift,
the awesome gift
of faith.
There is nothing,
no thing better.
I sit
with you
and dwell.
No better blessing.
