Dearest God,

You call us to love, to trust you and to follow your will.  You know by doing so, we will rise to the high level of faith.

It is so easy to fall victim to old habits, to leave faith where it is in order to step outside your will and to follow our own urgings.  But always, yes always, we travel roads that go nowhere, that only have a dead end.  We can get there but we have nothing when we arrive.

On the other hand, when we follow the law of love taking the road of your will, we find immense joy, a peace that passes all understanding and inward satisfaction.  We know we have pleased you.  We know our faith has enlarged.  We know that the road to your peace is better than any other road we travel.

God of Power and Love,
you have
created us
to be
fellow travelers
of faith
with you.
You have
given us
power to trust,
to follow
your will
and to love.
You created us
to be loved
and love.
Your know
your way
is always better.
Faith and
all its benefits
await us
every day.
