Dear God,

Your ways are far better than our own!  We imagine great things and try to do them sometimes succeeding.  But when you unfold your plan and we follow it.  Great things are not only possible, but probable.

I know women who have struggled to survive abuse of all kinds.  They have had to crawl through life scraping by to rise above their horrific injuries.  Yet, when you touched their lives, when you healed them and when you empowered them, they not only rose up but ran, played and danced.  They inspire others.

So, why do we wait to turn to you?  Why do we insist on using our power only?  Why do we reach as far as we can go and then stand in our dead end road?

God of Hope,
change our DNA,
transform us
to be followers
of your will
and way.
Show us
the way
to greatness.
Help us
bless you
in all
we do.
