Dear God,

The question is always the same:  Where do you see Christ since last we met?

By your spirit and urging we became a covenant group more than 30 years ago.  Early on we decided we wanted to move deeper in our faith, covenant to be present, listen and share, to share in devotions, leading in silence and prayer.  We agreed to pray for one another daily.

So the today I will answer the question.  I see you, my Lord, in nature, the willingness of nature to bow to your creative design, to sway in the wind on your breeze, to bud, bloom and blossom at its appointed time, to let go when time is ready and finally, to nurture roots all winter long.  That is a good metaphor for my spiritual life.

As I look upon your creation, I can't help but whisper prayers of thanksgiving.  It so speaks to me, to all of me, body, mind and soul.

Thank you,
Grand and Master Designer,
thank you
for creation.
Thank you
for winter
and its call.
Thank you
for your
living, loving presence
in it all.

Forever yours, Andrea
