Dearest God,

Holy, holy, holy...that's all I wanted to pray aloud early this morning.  As I awakened at 4:00 a.m. I breathed in the light found in the darkness.  As I drove to the hospital to accompany my sister for knee surgery, I looked at the sky and gazed upon a full moon with the most beautiful aura and I thought, "This moon could be the North Star; it doesn't matter.  For all practical purposes it is the light that shines in the darkness."  Tears welled in my eyes as I pondered the light, its warmth, its beauty and its love.

Small things often have really big messages and when we get it, they overwhelm us with your amazing grace in this world.  As Susan Boyle sang, The Lord's Prayer, I remembered choreographing a spiritual dance and as retreatants we danced to this incredible prayer first prayed by your son.  All the way to the hospital you spoke and I listened, wept really, just taking in the gift of faith.

You are God;
there truly is
none like you.
You are
life's greatest blessing,
Gracious One.
You show us
the way
to you
again and again
and again.

Love, Andrea
