Dear God,

Come, Holy Spirit and do your work in me.  Come, Holy Spirit and flush out my sin, mistakes and errant ways.  Come, Holy Spirit and renew my love for you and my neighbor.

If we block your way, how can we expect to find guidance, help and mercy?  If we do not willingly open the door to you, how can we possible expect change to come?  If we do not listen, how can we expect life to be different?

You are the power of transformation.  You can transform ugliness into beauty.  You can transform darkness into light.  You can transform fear into faith.

But if we don't let you, what can we possibly expect from you?

Teach us
your ways,
Holy Spirit.
Shake us up,
stir us
from within
and help
us realize
you are
the power
who will
move in
our lives.
Help us
trust you
so we
can trust ourselves
and others.
