Dear God,

So many people are doing so many good things.  People are sewing masks and gowns for medical workers.  Others are using 3D printers making face shields.  Some are collecting food for shelters and homeless persons.  Still others are making cards, writing good news messages on their homes and children and families are penning chalk messages on the sidewalks and parking lots.  Many are praying for loved ones and strangers who are ill and dying, people who are on the front lines fighting the corona virus and world leaders.  All these are acts of compassion that come from the heart to reach out to others.  They are your hands and heart.

You are showing us our capability to do more and be more for others.  Through a very difficult situation, you are bringing out the best in many of us.  You are guiding us toward love for all.  You are reminding us how we need one another.  You are urging us to show compassion, offer mercy and bless others who are frightened, anxious and worried.  You are inviting us to deepen our faith so we can trust you more and love others more as well regardless of who they are and what their situation is.

You are blessing us, Heavenly Father, in ways we could not have imagined!

Thank you,
Merciful God,
for living
life lessons.
Thank you
for opportunities
to love,
serve and give.
Thank you
for teaching us
the way
of love.

Always yours, Andrea
