Dearest God,

Although our world is shaken upside down, there are some things that happen in the same way.  The sun comes up and sets.  Oxygen is plentiful so we can draw in deep breaths first thing in the morning just to be sure there is enough for us.  And spring is breaking.  New life is showing its face.

It is so easy to fall prey to fear, anxiety and hopelessness.  Yet, it really is the most opportune time to try out something new.  Try letting faith pierce our darkness.  Let worry be overcome by peace.  Count your blessings and acknowledge what you have versus what is absent.  All of these can tackle our fears allowing hope to rise up.  There are 180 references to hope in the bible if we want to crack open our bibles and look them up.

We are your people, your children, your family, O God.  You made us to dwell, walk and talk with you.  Help us to remember this today and every day.

Loving Father,
thank you
for making us yours.
Thank you
for your promises
that we
can rely on
especially today
during this health crisis.
Move us
to more
and more trust.

Love, Andrea
